The First 24 Hours

Contrary to popular belief, you do not have to wait 24 hours before getting your lash extensions wet. Modern professional adhesives cure much more quickly than older formulas, so you can continue with your normal routine.

Clean Your Lashes Daily

Clean lashes are healthy lashes.

• Wash your lash extensions at least once daily.
• If you exercise, sweat heavily, or spend time outdoors, wash them immediately after your workout. This counts as your daily cleanse, though twice daily is ideal for optimal retention.
• Always wash in a downward motion from the base of the lashes toward the tips. Avoid scrubbing or washing in circular motions, as this can create unnecessary tangling and stress on the extensions.

Keep Your Hands Off

To protect both your extensions and your natural lashes:

• Do not rub your eyes.
• Do not pick, pull, or tug on your extensions.
• Avoid sleeping directly on your lashes whenever possible.

If you notice yourself reaching for your lashes throughout the day, keep the spoolie provided with you. Brushing your lashes is a much healthier habit than picking at them.

Skip Mascara & DIY Lash Products

Please avoid:

• Mascara
• Lash clusters
• Strip lashes

If you prefer the appearance of a darker lash line, simply let me know before your appointment so we can customize your set accordingly.

If mascara, clusters, or strip lashes are worn over your extensions, they leave behind residue that cannot be fully removed during a standard fill appointment. In these cases, the remaining extensions must be removed and a new full set will be required. For the health of your natural lashes and to maintain sanitation standards, I do not apply new extensions over lashes that cannot be thoroughly cleansed.

Heat & Steam

Occasional steam is perfectly fine, but frequent exposure to high heat, such as saunas, steam rooms, or very hot environments, can soften the curl of both your natural lashes and the extensions over time.

Consistent heat exposure may result in:

• Drooping lashes
• Changes in curl pattern
• Reduced retention
• Fills that don’t achieve the same lifted appearance

If you’re a frequent sauna user, please let me know so we can choose a curl that best accommodates your lifestyle.

Sleep Matters

Your lash adhesive is incredibly strong—but it isn’t indestructible.

Sleeping face-down or pressing your lashes into your pillow night after night can bend extensions, alter their direction, and lead to premature shedding. Sleeping on your back or side whenever possible will help your lashes maintain their beautiful shape between appointments.

If your service included a lash tint, you can expect the tint to last approximately 2–3 weeks, depending on your skincare routine, cleansing habits, sun exposure, and your natural lash growth cycle.

Your lift will continue to look beautiful even after the tint has faded, and mascara may be worn if you’d like to restore a darker appearance.

Hydration Is Everything

Healthy lashes retain their flexibility, shine, and strength.

To keep your lashes conditioned:

• Lightly dampen your lashes with water each day.
• Follow with a small drop of nourishing oil to help lock in that moisture.

This simple routine helps maintain soft, healthy lashes throughout the life of your lift.

Avoid Mechanical Stress

Although your lift is long-lasting, your natural lashes can still become bent or damaged through excessive friction.

Please avoid:

• Rubbing your eyes
• Pulling or picking at your lashes
• Sleeping with your face pressed firmly into your pillow whenever possible

Skip the Eyelash Curler

Please do not use a traditional eyelash curler after your lift.

Your lashes have already been professionally lifted, and mechanical curling can weaken or distort both the lift and your natural lashes.

Mascara

Most clients find they no longer need mascara after their Korean Lash Lift.

If you’d like to wear mascara, I recommend waiting until the day after your appointment. While the professional Korean lifting system allows your lashes to get wet immediately, minimizing unnecessary manipulation during the first 24 hours helps your lashes settle into their beautiful new shape.

When wearing mascara, remove it gently at the end of the day and avoid waterproof formulas whenever possible, as they require more rubbing to remove and may place unnecessary stress on your natural lashes.

When applying or removing makeup, be gentle around the brow area. Avoid aggressive rubbing or scrubbing, and keep strong exfoliating products, retinoids, acids, and benzoyl peroxide off the brows whenever possible, as they may shorten the life of your tint and dry out the brow hairs.

Sleep Matters

Your brow hairs may occasionally shift while you sleep.

If you wake up with a few hairs out of place, simply mist your brows lightly with water and brush them back into position using your spoolie.

The Korean Lash Lift + Tint is the lowest-maintenance option. It enhances your own lashes with no daily upkeep and lasts 6–8 weeks. Extensions add length and fullness and are maintained with fills every 2–3 weeks. As a licensed esthetician, Lala will recommend what best suits your eyes and your lash health at your appointment.

Yes, that's our Foreign Fill. We assess your current set, remove any outgrown or poorly placed extensions, and fill with custom styling to blend. If the set needs extensive correction, the appointment may convert to a full set.

Lash health comes first, always. Every service is performed by a licensed esthetician using techniques and weights chosen to protect your natural lashes. Your desired look is never achieved at the expense of lash health.

Yes. Brides get a dedicated trial-and-touch-up extension package, and wedding parties can reserve a private Saturday for Korean Lash Lifts. Group dates book out 3–4 months ahead and are planned directly with Lala, so start with an inquiry rather than the regular booking calendar.

Yes. Brown lash sets create a softer finish for anyone who wants definition without the bolder look of standard black lashes. Natural doesn't have to be boring, and it doesn't have to announce itself either. Brown sets must be requested before booking, since they're special-ordered rather than kept on hand.

Not unless you want them to. The tint included with the Korean Lash Lift can be done in brown instead of black for a softer finish, a lovely option for blondes or anyone who isn't a heavy mascara wearer. Just mention it when you book and we'll tailor the tint to you.

Arrive with your lash line completely free of lash glue, makeup, and debris. Our services rely on a clean lash line for results that last, so if cleanup is needed a $25 upcharge applies to cover the extra time and product. If the lash line is unworkable, your appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled per the booking contract sent when you book, and the deposit is not returned.

We're open Tuesday through Friday, 9:30am–4:00pm, by appointment. Closed Monday, Saturday, and Sunday. A non-refundable deposit secures every appointment, and cancellations or reschedules need at least 48 hours' notice.
